Your Journey to a Healthier, Happier You Starts Here
Service Description
At LaurieChapmanMFT, Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy is a collaborative and goal-oriented process designed to foster healing, growth, and connection. I strive to provide a supportive and compassionate environment where you can identify patterns, gain insight, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. In individual therapy, the focus is on helping you understand yourself more deeply, heal emotional wounds, and strengthen your ability to navigate life’s challenges. I work with clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach emphasizes resilience and empowerment. In couples therapy, I work to help partners improve communication, deepen emotional intimacy, rebuild trust, and resolve conflicts that have created distance or hurt. The process invites each person to feel heard and understood while learning new, effective ways to connect and problem-solve together. Family therapy offers a space for families to strengthen understanding, repair strained relationships, and develop healthier ways of communicating and supporting one another. I work to help families navigate issues such as parenting challenges, life transitions, blended family dynamics, or the effects of trauma. The work focuses on restoring balance and fostering cooperation so that each member can thrive within a more connected family system. My therapy approach integrates techniques from cutting-edge therapy models: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Gottman Couples Therapy, Brief Strategic Therapy, Post Induction Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
